Our Story

This is my family. We live in Georgia on five beautiful acres. I am married to an adventure loving man who makes our life so much fun, and I have three beautiful children, Kate, Brian, and Caleb. We also have a black lab named Dixie and a rotating array of turtles, frogs, and lizards that live on our screened in porch. My two boys are BOYS! We love camping, swimming, boating, four-wheeling, soccer, football, and basketball in the driveway. I love to cook and my family enjoys eating!

 I spend my days wrangling the kids and writing in the moments in between. I used to be a teacher in public and private schools. I have taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts, Kindergarten, 4th grade, and High School Literature. These days God has me teaching, but through books instead. I have several published books designed to help you practice the art of prayer and apply it to all the areas of your life. Check out my book page for more details. I also enjoy speaking at churches and women's events. It's a way for me to share the things God is teaching me about prayer and family.
