​This book walks through 1 Corinthians 13 and first opens our eyes to why we have been unable to love well and then shows us our Redeemer and Healer who can enable us to love well. God knew that no matter how hard we try to love; we fail.This failure is meant to lead us to Him. Our failure is meant to bring us to the end of ourselves. Only then can God sanctify us to be vessels capable of holding His abundance and spilling the overflow on others.
Things Pondered from a Mother's Heart
Just as Mary "treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart", (Luke 2:19), I have learned to take the time to treasure my children and see that they are gifts from God. they show us truths about him that, as adults, we have lost the ability to see. They are totally unfettered and untainted by our world. We assume that they learn from us, when in reality we have much to learn from them. They model how we are supposed to live.
