What do we do in light of the darkness that is spreading? How do we respond to abortion laws and all of the evil? What does God want us to do?

What is this feeling in my chest? I recognize the tension of comparison that is sneaking in and stealing my joy. It leads me to envy almost every time I choose to compare. The enemy has been beating me here in this space where comparison becomes something more sinister and wants to hang around my heart. I don’t want to let him beat me anymore. Week 2 of Lent Prayers for refreshing our hearts

So many of my thoughts and so much of my time are caught up in things that are important to the culture around me, but they aren't things that will matter in eternity.

Sin is sneaky, when I leave the door cracked, it pushes its way into my life.

Lent is about more than denying our flesh, it's about restoring our hearts.

What do I give myself to? What takes my energy?

My rhythm and reset this year will be receiving and giving grace. I'm thinking that receiving God's grace this year won't be much fun...

God doesn't just forgive our sin, He can use our repentance to bring us closer and renew us.
