Do you ever get lost in the volume of information we take in daily? I think this information overload can even invade my Bible reading. I need to just slow down. Taking in the Bible isn’t a race.

I burnt the bacon. It wasn’t because I didn’t set a timer, it’s because I didn’t stay where I could hear the timer. All the things need done, yes they do. But I am old enough to realize that there isn’t an end to the list. I will never get done all the things that need done.

Pouring our actually makes space for God to fill me with something better... Him.
