I do want you to check it out, but my reason for sharing this today is a little deeper. When I told you I had to sit down when I found out that many people were intrested, that was true. I actually started to cry, and maybe not for the reason you think. Yes, I am happy the plan is doing well. I am excited that it means that people are hearing God's word and hopefully learning and expanding their prayer lives. It means that all the time I have spent pouring over words was worth it, even if it ends there and no one ever reads my book.
What it mostly means to me today is that God is in charge. I am not. I didn't even know my plan was live on the You Version App. I told no one about it. God is whispering to my heart that I don't have to hold the reigns, I can enjoy the ride. I don't need to strive for success of this book, His love doesn't hinge on that one bit. I don't need to anxiously struggle like it depends on me. I can rest in the fact that every minute depends on Him, and He loves me.
He also loves you. What are you feeling pressing on your heart today. What is keeping your thoughts tangled or muddy? Concerns for a loved one? Decisions that hover? To-do lists that seem insurmountable? Health concerns? Empty nests? There are a thousand things that can keep us from walking in peace. What are yours today?
God is working in places you can't see yet. He is right there beside you. Look up and tell Him you trust Him. Empty out your thoughts and concerns and recieve His presence in those places. Let Him fill you back up. Do it right now, because you and I both know that you'll forget later. Take the pause and get the peace.
