I have talked to God a lot this year about pleasing Him. I have a people-pleasing bent and He has been revealing it to me in the gentle way that He does. I sense we will be unpacking how I can please Him with my faith and fill that desire so that I don't spend exhaustive amounts of energy trying to please people when that was never my job.

We spend so much time comparing with others that we don't take a hard look at our own lives. I know this is true for me. I can feel that emptiness when I start to compare seep in. It feels like what someone else has was stolen from me.

What am I willing to die for? What can I daily die to?

There is not a problem that doesn't find it's answer in God. If we aren't reading His word diligently, not devotionals, not self-help...
