Everything is Possible

I've been thinking about all the things. Mine and other peoples.
We have so much information at our fingertips in this generation. I can see and digest all of the evil and injustice in my own backyard and across the globe on real time. I have felt helpless to stop it. Have you felt this way?
Instead of my world just being the nucleus of my family and some close friends, I can actually enter the portal of the internet and see problems outside my reach every time I pick up my phone. Every scroll brings the possibility of ovehwhelm.
I need to limit what I let in, but also, I need to realize Who I need to let in. My concern about the state of things abroad or at home can center only around what I can't do.
Our horizons may be broadened by our ability to take in so much information, but those horizons are well within God's reach.
Don't you want to leave the limitations of this world; I do. When I want desperately to do something about an injustice or help a friend and I just don't know what to do - This is it! The beautiful thing about prayer is that it doesn't depend on us. I think I just forget that sometimes. We tend to only resort to prayer when we have exhausted other resources because we buy into the lie that everything depends on us. When we feel like there isn't anything we can do, then we pray.
The wonderful thing about praying is that we leave a world of not being able to do something and enter God's realm where everything is possible. Nothing is too great for His almighty power. Nothing is too small for His love. - Corrie TenBoom
Prayer lets us out of the prison of our limitations. It enables us to help where we feel powerless. Our prayers really do affect things. Don't get me wrong, God does not need us, but He lets us participate. Not only is there nothing too great to ask, there is nothing too small.
God is able to do everything, and though He might not do exactly what we ask, we have the freedom to ask. He can then tailor His answer to the best possible thing to do because He knows what that is, I just think that I do. That grants us incredible freedom in prayer.
I can't mess it up. God takes my motives and my heart and not only addresses the situation I'm asking about, but He also helps me understand my motives and my heart.
Everything He touches, He renews.
I think that sometimes the idea that we can mess prayer up keeps us from doing it.
Don't let it.
Ask.
Ask away.
When you feel powerless to do anything, that's a great place to be.
God will do the Right thing.
Ask Him.
Do it now.
I'm not kidding. That nagging thing on your heart, stop now and talk to God about it. Don't wait because the enemy will surely distract you. Ask God to remind you to keep seeking HIm.
